Toolkit
Colours & Typography
For this promotional page, I used a mixture of pastel tones which contrasted against the vibrant burst of colour on the intricate tropical prints. From the Ambrose Wilson toolkit, I used BauerBodni BT for the strong headings in an off-black colour to compliment the soft feel of the page.

Build
Responsive Development
Once the final designs had been signed off I built the web page in HTML and CSS using the mobile-first framework, Bootstrap. I then tested the build on various device types before pushing through the completed build into the CMS (Fatwire) ready for marketing to publish.

The Result
My Approach & The Outcome
My approach was to give the page a light summer feel with the use of negative space and hints of soft pastel colours. I used polaroid looking photos in the hero image to give the sense of summer impulse. For the outfit builder sections I kept the text short and sweet to let the outfits speak for themselves. Again lots of white space keeps the design looking minimal and refreshing - with applications of tropical leaves to help bring the sections together.
